Shimano’s STEPS 9-speed chain has been reinforced and equipped with newly dimensioned links ready for use with E-bike. The Hyperglide technology makes shifting operations run smooth – even under load. CN-E6070-9 chains are not directional and can only be ridden with a single chainring.
Hyperglide Technology
The inner outer plate of the HG chain is designed for efficient contact with gear teeth and allows smooth shifting under high load. The chain achieves a higher pedalling efficiency and is perfectly matched to HG sprockets to ensure quick shifting.
