REDARC 24V Daytime Running Lights Controller – KOLO24DU. A daytime running light controller is designed to ensure vehicle headlights are switched on whenever the ignition is on. A safety feature for commercial, industrial and fleet vehicles but are also suitable for the everyday driver. Considered compulsory due to OH&S provisions on many mine sites. Designed for universal fitment in 12 volt or 24 volt vehicles with either positive or negative-switched lighting systems. It has a 10 second turn on delay designed to reduce the load on the engine during cranking. This is particularly useful on vehicles with an already-large starting load such as Landcruiser 100 and 200 series turbo diesel models.
