The XHD RTC (Return to Centre) Steering Damper is engineered for extreme off-road applications, making it the ideal choice for vehicles running oversized tyres and suspension lifts of 4” (100mm) or more. When standard steering dampers simply aren’t up to the task, the XHD RTC delivers superior strength, control, and steering correction.
Designed to take the return-to-centre principle to the extreme, this heavy-duty damper actively assists in straightening the steering after turns, improving directional stability and control, particularly important for heavily modified 4WDs. Vehicles with large suspension lifts experience altered Front end geometry and increased steering travel, which demands a longer, stronger, and more robust damper. The XHD RTC is purpose-built to handle these demands.
Supplied with vehicle-specific mounting brackets and detailed setup instructions, the damper allows correct configuration of the coil and collar arrangement for optimal performance. Some minor modification may be required to achieve correct fitment depending on vehicle setup.
